Yeezy Mix - DXMVRC

Hey! I compiled a playlist of songs that Kanye West either rapped on or produced. So whether you like him as a producer or as a performer, you'll enjoy this playlist! I made it in the spirit of Kanye being a fellow Gemini. Enjoy!

6 - DXMVRC

Hey there! During my time away from the blogosphere, I've been making music. I recently put out this EP called 6. Enjoy!

The Recovery - Pharaoh DXMVRC

I woke up the other morning feeling terrible. I won't say why exactly I felt like that but the cover image should give you a clue. This compilation is for anyone who is in that exact situation I was in. Enjoy!

Titanic - Sparx

This mixtape has been my soundtrack since its release! On Titanic, the South Carolina State U student, Sparx shows all of his different sides, from his thoughts on his past relationships to his current outlook on college life and his perspective on various issues in society today. From the mellow, heartfelt sound of "Shawty Taught Me" (my favorite track on the mixtape) to the hardcore rap-feel of "All Ears Open", this mixtape has something for everyone! The mixtape features production by the likes of T.J Arrington, who produced one of my favorite songs on the mixtape, "Set Sail". Sparx also makes sure to give several shoutouts to his label "House Of Pharaohs" who seem like they are a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry. Your itunes playlist is incomplete without this one. Enjoy!

Finessin' - Chief Keef

If you're a Kanye West / G.O.O.D Music fan, you've probably heard of Chief Keef by now. The 16-y-old Chicago native has a lot of gems that were released before his rise to internet fame. This is one of them. A hard-a** beat combined with ignorant-a** lyrics ; when has this ever been a bad combination? Enjoy!

Life Should Go On feat. Wale - Big Sean

G.O.O.D Music's Big Sean releases a new song featuring Maybach Music Group's Wale . No doubt that the lyricism in this song is on point but the beat is simple yet effective. The word that I think best describes the beat is "cheerful". It samples the melody of  Rainy Days & Mondays by The Carpenters. Enjoy!

My Heart Is Hers feat. Aisha Davis - Aidonia

It's #ThrowbackTuesday so why not. I love this song and I never truly appreciated it until my homie Trent asked me to play it. In my opinion, it's one of the best reggae/dancehall songs of all time. Aidonia's raw lyrics combined with Aisha Davis' on the hook makes this song amazing. Enjoy!

Goldie - A$AP Rocky

A$AP dropped the first track from Pretty Flacko. He's back with that chopped n' screwed sound that we heard in Purple Swag. Enjoy!

The Recipe feat. Dr. Dre - Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar is back with another chill song. This is a perfect song to listen to if you're just posted up at the crib, or even if you're riding with the top down. Enjoy!

Way Too Cold (Theraflu) - Kanye West

One of hip hop's most controversial artists drops a new single that has PETA going crazy over the first line. No doubt that this song is going to be on repeat for a while though! My one area of disappointment was the fact that this song didn't have the quality of production that I've come to expect from a Kanye West song. The content really makes up for it though! Enjoy!

I Don't Really Care feat. Trey Songz - Waka Flocka Flame

Another headbanger from Waka Flocka but this time, he unexpectedly teams up with Trey Songz. Of course Waka is rapping about bullshit but the beat goes HARD! Enjoy!

Trouble On My Mind feat. Tyler The Creator - Pusha T

I've been M.I.A for a while but it's all good now! I was busy doing school work but now, it's summer and I've got nothing but Trouble On My Mind ! Audio-streams of this song have surfaced all over the net on various blogs but none of them have download links but Don't worry! I gotchu!

Sailing Soul(s) - Jhene' Aiko

This girl has an reeeally mellow sound. I think she picked up right where Cassie left off. Jhene Aiko's mixtape features Drake, Gucci Mane, Miguel and many others. It's a really refreshing sound, especially amidst Odd Future's contraversial lyrics and rough-edged sound. Don't get me wrong tho! OFWGKTA!
